Italian Researchers in Hessdalen, summer 2001

Researchers and students from Italy, is in Hessdalen for making more measurements. Some of them where there last year as well, when they got interesting results. They bring their telescop with a spectral grating, so that there is possible to get the optical spectra of the unknown light, direct in to the computer. They have also an ELFO system (Extreme Low Frequency Observatory), which is used for recording any strange low frequency signals that might appear. They have also a VLF (Very Low Frequency) receiver, that will record low frequency radio signals.

The first arrived in Hessdalen the 24.July, and the last go back on the 22.August. Most of them work or study at C.N.R. ISTITUTO DI RADIOASTRONOMIA, Medicina, just outside Bologna in the northern Italy.

Massimo Teodorani, Simona Righini, Andrea Cremonini and Flavio Gori are supported by the Italian Committe for Project Hessdalen (ICPH)- Thank you very much!

It is connected directly into a Laptop PC, so that it is possible to get the specter recorded on to the PC at once.
